Inventive, effective communication in retail usually boils down to:
A good idea. Nice fonts. The right stuff images. A tone of voice. 
Good copy. Clever packaging. An understanding of print & finishing. 
Lovely paper. Being really clever with the budget.(of course we 
were going to mention understanding the customer...)
